Personalized Charcuterie Boards

A charcuterie board is already the most impressive thing on the table. Add a laser engraved name, a family monogram, or a recipe that's been passed down for generations — and suddenly it's the most meaningful thing in the room too.

Every board in this collection is laser engraved right here in my studio in Mooresville, NC, permanently etching your personalization into the wood or slate. I offer a range of board styles — from acacia and slate rectangles to oval boards with serving tools, round boards, and long paddle boards — so whether you're shopping for a wedding gift, a housewarming gift, a holiday, or just because, there's a board here that's exactly right.

These are the gifts people keep out on their counters. The ones guests ask about. The ones that travel from house to house every time there's a gathering. Browse below and find the one that belongs in someone's kitchen — or yours.

Why a Personalized Charcuterie Board Makes the Perfect Gift

Here's the thing about most gifts: they get used once or twice, then end up in a cabinet somewhere. A personalized charcuterie board is the complete opposite. It gets pulled out every time there's something worth celebrating — a birthday dinner, a holiday party, a girls' night, a Tuesday that deserved cheese and wine.

The personalization is what makes it special. When a board has someone's family name, a monogram, a meaningful date, or even a family recipe engraved right into the wood, it stops being just a serving piece. It becomes a keepsake they use. Something they're proud to set out when company comes. Something that gets better looking over time as the wood develops a beautiful patina from real use.

And unlike a gift card or a generic kitchen item, a laser engraved charcuterie board is genuinely one of a kind. I engrave every board myself — which means no two are exactly alike, and every single one was made with the recipient in mind. That's what makes people say it's the best gift they ever received.

Every Charcuterie Board is Precisely Laser Engraved

Every charcuterie board I sell is laser engraved by hand in my studio right here in Mooresville, North Carolina. That means when you order a board with a family name, a monogram, or a recipe, I personally run it through my laser machine — specifically for your order. No stamps. No vinyl stickers. No ink that wears off.

Laser engraving works by using a focused beam of light to permanently etch the design directly into the surface of the wood or slate. The result is a crisp, deeply detailed impression that becomes part of the board itself. It won't fade after washing. It won't peel after years of use. It just gets more beautiful as the board ages.

Laser engraved personalization is in a completely different category from everything else. This is what makes a board a keepsake instead of just a serving piece.

Build a Complete Entertaining Gift Set

A personalized charcuterie board is a showstopper on its own — but pair it with a personalized photo board to match the occasion or a personalized sign and you've put together a gift set that is truly unforgettable.

Here are my most popular pairings:

Personalized Signs

A charcuterie board looks beautiful on the counter — but pair it with a personalized family sign on the wall above it and suddenly the whole kitchen feels like it was designed with intention. A laser engraved or custom laser engraved sign with the family name, an established year, or a meaningful quote makes a housewarming gift set that covers both the functional and the sentimental. Two pieces, one unforgettable gift.

Personalized Photo Keepsakes

For the family that loves to display the moments that matter most, a personalized photo keepsake board is the perfect companion to a charcuterie board gift. One lives in the kitchen, one lives in the living room — and both carry something personal and permanent. Together they make a gift set that's as meaningful as it is beautiful, perfect for weddings, housewarmings, and anyone who loves their home to feel like theirs.

Personalized Tumblers

Every great host needs a great drink in hand — and a laser engraved tumbler with their name keeps their coffee hot or their iced tea cold through every gathering, every game night, and every quiet evening after the guests go home. Pair a tumbler with a charcuterie board for a gift set that covers both the serving and the sipping. It's one of my most popular combinations for housewarmings and holidays alike.

FAQs - Charcuterie Boards

Both! My charcuterie and cutting boards are fully functional serving and cutting boards — you can absolutely load them up with cheese, meats, crackers, fruit, and everything else a great board deserves. They're also beautiful enough to display in the kitchen when they're not in use, which is why so many of my customers keep theirs out on the counter year-round.

The laser engraving is food-safe, and the materials are designed for real kitchen use. That said, for the boards with slate inlays, I recommend using the wood sections for cutting to keep your knives happy.

Yes — laser engraving is completely permanent. The laser works by removing material from the surface of the wood or slate, burning the design directly into the board. It doesn't use ink, paint, or any applied coating that can peel or fade. With normal care and washing, your engraving will look just as crisp years from now as it does on the day it arrives. In fact, many people find that the engraving looks even more beautiful as the board develops a natural patina from use.

My charcuterie boards come in a few different materials depending on the style you choose. Most are crafted from solid acacia wood — a beautiful, durable hardwood with rich grain patterns and natural color variation that makes every board truly unique. Several styles feature a combination of acacia wood and slate stone, which provides a gorgeous two-toned look and a smooth surface for serving. Boards that include slate have natural variation in color and texture — that's the nature of real stone, and it's part of what makes each one one-of-a-kind. All of this is noted in the individual product descriptions so you know exactly what you're ordering.

It depends on the design, but most boards can be personalized with a family name, last name, established date, monogram, address, or custom text. A few designs — like the Recipe Engraved Cutting Board — let you submit your own recipe text to be engraved. Each product listing will tell you exactly what to enter and where. If you're unsure about anything or want to confirm your personalization before I engrave, just contact me — I'm always happy to answer questions before you order.

For acacia wood boards, hand washing is strongly recommended — do not put them in the dishwasher, as prolonged exposure to water and heat can warp or crack the wood over time. Wash with warm, soapy water and dry immediately.

To keep the wood looking its best, condition it periodically with food-safe mineral oil or a wood conditioner (a little goes a long way). For boards that include a slate panel, the same hand-wash rule applies. Avoid soaking or submerging any part of the board. Treated with regular care, these boards will last for decades.

Every board is made to order in my studio in Mooresville, NC, so please allow production time in addition to shipping time. I recommend ordering as early as possible — especially for weddings, housewarmings with a specific date, and holiday gifts, which are my most popular board occasions.

If you have a deadline or need your order by a specific date, please contact me before placing your order so I can confirm I can meet it. I'd rather you reach out early than be stressed about timing later!
